This page covers the Askable website and its mailing list, which is everything Askable does today. The form builder is not open yet. When it opens it will process things this page does not describe — the responses people send you, and the model that summarises them — and this policy will be extended to cover them before that happens, not after.

What we collect

The email address you type into the signup form. Nothing else. There is no account, no profile, and no field we ask you to fill in that is not visible on the page.

We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, session recording, or advertising tools. The site loads no fonts, scripts, or images from anyone else’s server, so no third party learns that you visited.

What we do with it

  • Send you one email asking you to confirm the address.
  • Send you one email when the builder opens.

That is the complete list. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone for their own purposes.

Who else sees it

Resend delivers our email and stores the mailing list. Your address is passed to them when you sign up, and they keep a record of the messages they send, as any mail provider does. They are based in the United States, so the address is processed there.

Our hosting provider handles the request that serves this page and receives the signup form. Like any web host, it processes connection metadata — your IP address and browser user-agent — to deliver the response.

Your IP address

The signup endpoint counts recent attempts per IP address to stop automated abuse. That counter lives in the server’s memory, expires within minutes, and is never written to a log, a database, or a file.

What our logs contain

When you sign up we record a random reference code, a timestamp, and whether the email sent. Email addresses are deliberately not written to our logs, which is why an error message on this site gives you a reference code to quote rather than identifying you.

If you never confirm

Clicking the confirmation link is what adds you to the list. If you never click it you are never added, and the link itself expires after 24 hours. Resend will still hold its record of the confirmation email it sent you, in the same way a mail server holds a delivery record.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. There is no other expiry, because the list exists for a single announcement.

Your choices

  • Every email we send carries a working unsubscribe link.
  • Email hello@askable.app and we will delete your address and confirm that we have.
  • Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you. It will be one line: your email address and the date you confirmed it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your address, the date at the top changes and we will say so in the launch email rather than quietly editing the page.
